The adventure game “Still Life 2″ seems to be out now (well, it’s already available on the warez…). Quality of this is average (often like that in short budget for this kind of game and some  bad direction) but better than Mozart.

Some reviews at Gamekult and IGN, or check the official Still Life website.

A simple freeware today with a slide show screen saver (it’s also working as stand-alone), and support multi-monitors. You only need the latest version of directx 9, a pixel shader 2.0 capable video card, and pictures ;)

It’s using the FreeImage library to decode the pictures, and the wxWidgets framework for general purpose functions (files, directory, dialogs…).

Download the installer of this Slide Show here.

What’s new:
- 1.0.3: better support of the idle time (no cpu and gpu usage).
- 1.0.2: fix to avoid some flicking with background applications, and a new option for the multi-monitors display (change the pictures on all monitors at the same time or one after another; the option is multi-mon sync).
- 1.0.1: fix on shaders for some video cards
